I’m obsessed with art. It’s what I think about all day, every day. Creating has always been a part of who I am, dating back to the first conscious thought I can remember. Art has always felt like this cloud surrounding me, no matter where I was or what I was doing, it’s been ingrained in my soul from the get-go. I truly believe it’s what I was put on this earth to do. I’ve followed my love of art my entire life, constantly making things, challenging myself to learn new art techniques, studying art history, and seeking out fellow creatives every chance I got. I followed this love to earn my BA in Visual Studies, and haven’t stopped creating or learning since.
I find happiness in the little things of everyday life and am grateful for small moments. The little joys such as a good meal, thoughtful people, a beautiful day, traveling, and so much more inspire me and fuel my creativity. I work with acrylic paint to make art that's fun and playful. I don’t take myself too seriously, and it shows in my art. Creating excites me so much to the point that I have a hard time narrowing down one subject to consistently paint. This is freeing, as it allows me to explore abstract, still life, collage, or whatever else piques my interest.
When I’m not fine-tuning my process as an artist I’m traveling, trying new recipes, and exploring our backyard of Denver, CO with my husband.
